Frequently Asked Questions

Your Marriage,
Your Questions.

Everything you need to know about processing, timelines, and legal recognition in Thailand.

Can a foreign LGBTQ+ couple with no connection to Thailand get married here?

Yes. You can marry in Thailand without any special connection to the country, as long as you enter and stay legally. You don’t need a work visa, student visa, citizenship, or to speak Thai.

Can a foreign LGBTQ+ couple from a country that does not recognize same-sex marriage still get married in Thailand?

Yes. Marriage in Thailand is valid regardless of your nationality or your home country’s laws. Your marriage is registered in Thailand and is valid even if your home country does not yet recognize same-sex marriage.

Will other countries recognize my Thai marriage?

Generally, yes — wherever same-sex marriage is legal. We provide a legalized, translated certificate for international use.

Can you process our documents before we land?

Absolutely. We translate and prepare everything before you arrive. Legalization must begin after you enter Thailand (stamp required), but this gives you the fastest timeline.

How long should I stay in the country?

If docs are ready and an embassy visit is not required, 4–5 working days is best. If you need an embassy visit, plan for 6–8 days and we’ll give you a clear recommendation.

What's included in your legal service package?

  • Online client portal with a step-by-step custom timeline
  • Document verification by our licensed corporate lawyer
  • Translation, all local government fees, and MFA booking coordination

How much is the service fee, and what are the payment terms?

Flat fee: 45,000 THB, split across 3 secure milestone windows: Booking (10%), Document Approval (40%), and Final Registration Completion (50%).
