Our story

In 2025, our founder, Tanik Tangburanakij, established a project named Pride Love & Legal. As Thailand's Marriage Equality Act entered into force in 2025, he recognised what it entailed: same-sex couples from across Asia and beyond could now marry legally in Thailand.

Since then, we have assisted couples from around the world in registering their marriages here.

In May 2026, the project was incorporated as a company under a new name: Pride Legal Thailand; and in June 2026, we secured our first funding of 1.2 million THB. We are now expanding our services to assist even more couples.

Our mission

Our mission remains unchanged: to fight alongside you for the right that is already yours — to love, and to be loved.

What we stand for

Thailand as the destination. We intend to make Thailand the leading destination for same-sex marriage, and we intend that standing to become part of what Thailand is known for in the world. Thai law allows couples to marry here even when the law of their home country does not, and every registration we complete strengthens that position.

Privacy first. Marriage registration involves sensitive personal data. We collect only the information the process requires, we store it securely, and we treat its protection as part of the service rather than as an obligation attached to it.

Technology for equality. A right that is difficult to reach is a right that fewer people exercise. Our secure system carries a couple through the process from the first enquiry to the registration itself, and it lowers what the work costs us to perform. We return that saving in our fee, so that cost stands as a smaller barrier to a right that should carry none.

What comes next

We are expanding our services, our team and our reach, and our purpose has not changed since the day the project began. Every couple we assist is one more love that is recognized by the law, and one more demonstration that the law works as it was written to work. We intend there to be a great many.

  • Portrait of Tanik Tangburanakij, Founder of Pride Legal Thailand

    Tanik Tangburanakij

    Founder

LL.B. (First Class Honours) · Barrister-at-Law, Thai Bar Association

Tanik began his career as a lawyer in a Bangkok law firm. In 2025, after Thailand's marriage equality law took effect and opened registration to foreign couples, he founded Pride Legal together with his mother, Radchaya, under the name Pride Love & Legal. He founded it on one observation: the law had changed, but the documentation, the legalization chain and the Thai administrative process had not yet become accessible for a couple arriving from abroad. Tanik leads the firm's legal work, and he advises each couple on the documents their nationalities require.

  • Radchaya Tangburanakij

    Co-founder

    LL.B. · Licensed Lawyer

Radchaya has practiced law for more than ten years. She co-founded Pride Legal with Tanik, and she runs the firm's daily operations. She coordinates with the district offices and the government departments involved in every registration, she manages the schedule that each case depends on, and she keeps each couple's file moving from one step to the next.

  • Thasapol Atchariyachanvanit

    Chief Financial Officer

Thasapol is responsible for the firm's financial management. That work covers the firm's accounts and budgeting, the fee schedule that each couple pays against, and the firm's financial reporting and compliance obligations in Thailand.

    Worachit Sila

    Media Manager

Worachit runs the firm's social media accounts, he plans and produces every photograph and film, and he keeps one voice across every platform where a couple first finds Pride Legal. His work is also the firm's most public argument: a wedding that Thai law now recognizes deserves to be seen.

    Paralegal

Thananya supports the legal team through each case. She prepares and checks the documents that each partner must submit, she coordinates appointments with the district offices, and she follows every file through translation and legalization.
